Hartlepool United's play-of hopes took a huge blow when they lost 3-2 at rivals Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
The defeat, on the back of Tuesday's reverse leaves Pool trailing the home side in the race for a top seven spot.
Pool went in front through Ritchie Humphreys on three minutes and controlled the first half. But they were trailing 2-1 after goals from Abdou Sall and Colin Larkin.
Mark Tinkler levelled, rounding the keeper after racing from deep, but with just three minutes to go, Dean Bennett got behind the Pool defence and blasted past Anthony Williams.
