LEADING names from the world of opera and operetta gather in Richmond on March 15 for a weekend of music at the King's Head hotel.
The line-up includes Thomas Round, a tenor with the Sadler's Wells Opera, D'Oyly Carte Opera and Gilbert and Sullivan for All.
He is joined by operetta soprano Marilyn Hill Smith, contralto Gillian Knight, who is currently appearing with the D'Oyly Carte, baritone Michael Wakeham, Donald Maxwell, who has sung with Scottish Opera and at La Scala, Milan, and the Vienna State Opera, concert soprano Anne Stuart and David Coussell, accompanist, whose career includes conducting operas, chorus master, vocal coach, singer and lecturer.
The weekend may be booked as residential or non-residential and tickets are available separately for dinner and a concert on the Friday evening, or concert only on the Saturday.
