MEMBERS of Stockton Vocal Union will be helping to raise the roof by performing with the Parliamentary Choir in London, later this month.
Stockton South MP Dari Taylor is patron of the vocal union and also sings with the choir.
The choir will be performing the Messiah at Westminster Central Hall on March 20, but needed some extra voices.
Each member was allowed to take four singers from a local choir who know the work well. Ms Taylor has asked soprano Megan Childs, bass Ian Johnston, tenor Trevor Turner and alto Diane Turner.
Mr Johnston said: "It looks like being an unforgettable experience."
