LINGFIELD Investments has invested in a dedicated marketing operation at the rejuvenated Lingfield Point complex, in Darlington.
Shaw Property Concepts will move into a suite to work with letting agents Jones Lang Lassalle and Sanderson Townend and Gilbert to provide pro-active targeted marketing of the site.
The Lingfield Point site covers 125 acres and was the former centre of European wool manufacturing for Paton and Baldwins.
It was acquired by Lingfield Investments in 1998 and substantial investment has been made in upgrading the site.
The £16m first phase of redevelopment is nearing completion, transforming it into a secure and dynamic location for manufacturing, warehousing and office accommoda-tion.
Commenting on the new marketing suite, Martin Shaw, managing director of Shaw Property Concept, said: "Our brief is to raise awareness of Lingfield Point and the facilities and benefits it offers to relocating businesses, both locally and nationally."
Eddie Humphries, estate manager for Lingfield Point, said: "Lingfield Point is a distinctive site, offering excellent opportunities for companies looking for an ideal business location.
"Shaw Property Concept will sell the benefits of the complex to future occupiers, building on the success we have already had in achieving new tenants, and, hopefully, bring much needed new businesses and jobs to Darlington."
