A PROSTITUTE broke down as she told a court about the moment a client was dragged from her bed and thrown through a window to his death.
Claire Burgess said Kalvant Singh was beaten and then pushed through the window as she looked on in horror.
Newcastle Crown Court heard yesterday how Miss Burgess had picked up Mr Singh on the corner of Southfield Road and Murtle Street, Middlesbrough.
They then went back to the Errol Street address where Mr Singh met his death, in the early hours of last August 6.
The court heard that the innocent Mr Singh was caught up in senseless violence when a gang of five men went on the rampage to find someone they believed had been robbing prostitutes in the Middlesbrough area.
Newcastle Crown Court heard how Thomas Petch, 22, Jason Crossling, 32, his brother, Jonathan, and Lee Harrison, were driven by George Coleman, 41, to addresses at Errol Street, Stockfield Road and Fallows Court in the town, to seek out their intended victim.
Jonathan Crossling, known as Bam Bam - who has fled to Spain - and Mr Harrison, have yet to be brought before the courts on the same charges.
A tearful Miss Burgess told the court that she and Mr Singh had been woken by a commotion inside the house.
The Crossling brothers burst into the room.
Miss Burgess said: "Bam Bam pushed Mr Singh out of the window. He really pushed him, you could see the anger."
Miss Burgess said Mr Singh shouted as he fell to his death and she frantically ran down the stairs. There, she witnessed a ferocious attack on Michael Moody, who lived on the ground floor.
She said: "Tom Petch was standing over him. He just rammed his head into the fish tank."
Mr Coleman, of Thornton Street, North Ormesby, and Mr Petch, of Parkhouse Farm, Dunsdale, deny aggravated burglary at Southfield Road, acting with Jonathan Crossling, of Fairfield Road, Middlesbrough, and Mr Harrison. Mr Coleman and Mr Petch deny wounding Mr Ward, Mr Jessop with intent, also acting with Jonathan Crossling and Mr Harrison.
Mr Petch denies wounding Mr Thompson with intent.
All three deny murder, and causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Michael Moody.
The trial continues
