WEAR Valley ASC swimmers won a massive total of 22 golds at the first of this year's Northumberland and Durham ASA swimming championship galas at Darlington, Scott Hathaway leading the way with a huge haul of nine title wins in the boys' 13 year age group.
Richard Suddes (boys' 10 yrs) and Samantha Cook (girls' 12 yrs) were triple winners in their age groups, and Rebecca Golightly won two golds in the girls' 14 year age group. There were individual title wins for Jonathan Liddel (boys' 10 yrs), Robert Irwin (boys' 14 yrs), Olivia Hope (girls' 13 yrs), Faye Callan (girls' 9 yrs) and Ashleigh Foster (girls 10 yrs).
