MORE than 150 people disco-dancing youngsters aged four and 17 will compete for trophies in a competition at Evenwood and Ramshaw Community Centre, tonight, at 6.30pm.
The contest will feature 25 teams from County Durham, and is part of a county council scheme to raise young people's self-esteem.
Judith Dean, from the community centre, said: "A lot of people have been working hard to organise the event and a lot of thanks needs to go to everyone who has helped.
"Hopefully the contest will be a real success and we are looking forward to seeing the young people disco-dance."
Participant will receive certificates and medals, with trophies awarded in each age group.
