£200,000 school revamp
ST MARTIN'S Church of England school on Scarborough's South Cliff is to get a £200,000 revamp because of a lack of space.
The school, which has 279 pupils, is to get a new library, information technology suite, music area and extra corridor space. Officials of the York diocese said the work was a priority scheme. The school governors will provide £150,000 with the North Yorkshire education authority funding the balance.
