A concert at the Richmondshire Cricket Club this weekend will be pumping cash into two worthy causes.
The Atlantic Soul Messengers perform on Saturday to raise money for the Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society.
The organisation's lease on property in Dundas Street expires soon and it needs to find alternative premises to store sets and for rehearsals.
The remaining cash will buy books for a school in Ethiopia where society member Jodie Holliday is teaching with Voluntary Service Overseas.
Saturday's performance begins at 8pm. Tickets, costing £5, are available at the door or by telephoning (01748) 818514.
