Boddy Printers Sunday League
Cleveland Inn have topped their group and have booked their place in a cup final. They had a runaway victory over Station Hotel Boosbeck by 10-2 with goals from deadly duo Ray Woodhouse and John Ryan who each posted hat-tricks, a Gavin Hanratty brace and one each for Stuart Carter and John Morrison. Peter Day got both for Station Hotel.
Priestfields, still in with an outside chance of a final position, beat Big W by 6-0. Man of the match was James Donnelly. Priestfields are looking for Station Hotel and D and E Locksmiths to draw their remaining game.
Priory have slipped up since the turn of the year and looked destined to pick up nothing this season. They looked odds on to beat Jack and Jill, but credit to Jack and Jill, they held Priory to a 2-2 draw. Roberts and Bowman scored Priory's goals.
Poverina could only manage a 2-2 draw with Stockton Double Glazing but the single point was enough to make sure they will meet Cleveland Inn in the final. Poverina took a two-goal lead only for Stockton DB to level with two goals from Tony Scart.
Haverton Hill and D and E Locksmith fought-out a 2-2 draw in the league. D and E went two up with goals from David McGowan and Stephen Gordon then Paul McCulloch hit a brace for Haverton Hill, his second via a penalty.
l This Sunday's fixtures have been postponed due to Middlesbrough's home fixture ensuring evening matches for some teams.
