A COMMUNITY credit union set up five years ago to help residents of west Derwentside moved into new premises this week.
With help from grants and government funding, volunteers of West Derwentside Community Credit Union have taken office space in a former medical centre, in Consett town centre.
Credit union chairman Jim Walls said: "This is an important stage in the development of our credit union."
