Comedian Jim Davidson will appear in the North-East as part of his 25th anniversary tour.
Mr Davidson, who has become established as one of the nation's favourite funnymen, will appear at the Sunderland Empire Theatre, on Sunday, April 7.
He will perform an adult show comprising some of his most outrageous comedy.
He said: "This will be a tour packed full of all the best things I have done over the past 25 years. I'll be bringing all the band and all the lights, as well as all the tricks."
Mr Davidson recently received three showbusiness personality of the year awards - from the Variety Club of Great Britain, the Grand Order of Water Rats and Comic Heritage.
His prime-time television shows include Big Break and The Generation Game.
