PUPILS from three Darlington schools presented the results of a year of work with businesses to an audience of parents, industrialists and teachers.
For the second year, pupils from Heighington CE Primary, Rise Carr Primary and Abbey Junior schools have been working with representatives of Hydro-Polymers and 3M, on the Aycliffe Industrial Estate.
The businesses set the ten and 11-year-olds real-life tasks to solve problems faced in industry.
The presentations, at the Redworth Hall Hotel, near Darlington, gave the youngsters a chance to show the results of their efforts.
The scheme was put together by Neil Parker, headteacher of Heighington CE Primary School.
