BEDTIME will come early for youngsters visiting one of North Yorkshire's leading tourist attractions next week.
Playgroups across the Hambleton district are being invited to take part in national Bedtime Reading Week at the World of James Herriot Centre, in Thirsk.
Each group of children will be treated to a James Herriot story in the museum's education room and a trip round the farm to discuss animals in the tale.
They will also be asked to produce a picture of what they learnt during the visit and it will be displayed in the centre.
Bedtime Reading Week starts on Monday. Groups wanting to attend can call Lisa Martin, on (01845) 524234.
