A COMPACT disk featuring art produced by the community has been launched in Darlington.
The multi-media disk, called Resurgence, contains six digital animations created by community groups in the town at workshops led by digital artist Steve Messam.
It was produced using an Arts Council of England National Lottery Fund grant.
Mr Messam decided to use the grant to make digital and photographic art available to the whole community.
He started the disk with his own animation, which explores the history of photography from 1901 to the present day.
His work was on show at the weekend, alongside artwork created by the Darlington community groups at the Arts Centre, in Vane Terrace
