THREE part-time soldiers have been honoured for their work in the Territorial Army.
Sergeant Kenny Robson, from Darlington, was awarded a second clasp to his TA Efficiency Medal after serving as a volunteer for 22 years.
Sgt Robson, 47, is an office worker who decided to join up in 1980.
He serves as a territorial with the Royal Signals.
He is a sergeant combat medical technician for the TA.
Corporal Davy Dunbar, from Shildon, has been awarded his Defence Driving Instructor's qualification and his Volunteer Reserve Service Medal.
The 34-year-old builder is a TA Corporal in the Royal Logistics Corps and has served for 11 years.
Sergeant Paul Shield, from Coundon, also received a clasp to his Territorial Army Efficient Medal. The 39-year-old has been in the TA since 1996. The clasp rewards Sgt Shield's dedication to duty.
