A SUPPORT group has lent a hand to a hospice by supplying it with a new storage facility.
The Elvet Charities Support Group donated a new custom-made lymphoedema cabinet to St Cuthbert's Hospice, in Durham.
The gift has eased congestion by removing the bulk of bandages that was taking up valuable space in the treatment room.
Hospice lymphoedema nurse specialist Jeanne Everett said: "I am absolutely delighted with the new cabinet.
"It has really made a difference, creating a lot more organised space to work in."
The Elvet Charities Support Group has also donated cash to buy art materials to help patients at the hospice develop their creative skills
