A ten-week course is on offer at Redcar and Cleveland College for people in east Cleveland who want to become their own bosses.
The two-hour informal evening sessions start on Thursday, April 11, running from 6pm until 8pm.
They will involve experts, including an accountant, a solicitor and other professionals in the business and enterprise-related fields.
The initiative has been organised jointly by Adrian Beadnell, West Redcar Single Regeneration Budget's enterprise development officer, the college's own business section and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
Mr Beadnell said: "There will be up-to-date first hand information about 'must-know' subjects and clients will be able to ask questions on areas specific to their business venture."
Anyone interested in the course, which is free for all residents of Redcar and Cleveland, should contact Mr Beadnell on (01642) 471777 extension 350. Priority will be given to residents of west Redcar
