THE future of offshore wind power in the UK will be the subject of an engineering lecture in the region this week.
The Institute of Electrical Engineers is hosting the latest in its series of lectures at the Cleveland Scientific Institution, Middlesbrough, tomorrow at 6.30pm.
The speaker will be Bill Grainger, who works for Blyth Offshore Wind, the company responsible for an experimental wind farm off the Northumberland coast.
