YOUNGSTERS planning to take part in a fun run were this week given a preview of the specially-designed T-shirt they will receive if they complete the race.
The children, from Cromwell Road Primary School, in South Bank, near Middlesbrough, will join in the two-mile Redcar and Cleveland Junior Fun Run this Sunday.
If they make it past the finishing line, they will pick up a goodie bag, a Mother's Day daffodil and a T-shirt designed by fellow pupil Sayah Uddin.
Nine-year-old Sayah won a £15 sports voucher for her winning creation.
The race, which sets off at 11am from the Kirkleatham showfield at Redcar, has already attracted 200 children and more are expected on the day.
The entry fee for children is £3. For more information call the council's events team on (01642) 444373.
