A TRADITION fun fair is returning to Newton Aycliffe by popular demand after a successful return last year.
The Jubilee Simpasture fun fair visited the town for the first time in more than 15 years, last year.
The event was so well received that it is to return for five days next week.
The fair will be held in the car park of the Iron Horse pub, Emerson Way.
It will be open from 6pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, March 20 to Friday, March 22; 2pm to 8pm on Saturday, March 23; and from 2pm to 6pm, on Sunday, March 24.
A spokesman for the organisers said: "This is a safe and fantastic form of entertainment that has been pleasing mams, dads and children for well over 150 years."
The fairground includes Super Trooper air slide, Disney funtasia funhouse, Alice in Wonderland ride, trampolines, Fireman Sam's engine and sideshows.
