A CRAFT exhibition is taking place in east Cleveland to celebrate the first year of a self-help group.
The event, hosted by Saltburn Crafters, takes place on Easter Monday at Saltburn Community Centre and a wide range of handicrafts will be on offer along with demonstrations in arts such as pottery. There will also be homemade refreshments.
The self-help group encourages and supports up-and- coming craft workers in the Saltburn area and has a number of stalls still available for anyone who wants to get involved.
Rose Bottomley, who helped form the group, said: "The community centre here will help give us far more space than we usually have so we can make a great offer to any other craft workers who may wish to trade. Stalls cost £10 to rent for the whole day and it is a great opportunity to try out selling your work."
Anyone wanting to join the group is asked to call Mrs Bottomley on (01287) 209123.
