DOG "whisperer" Aileen Clarke will feature in a television documentary today about her work.
Miss Clarke set up Fellandale Dog Training last year, and has already attracted more than 100 owners.
Her work with dogs is based on the teachings of Norwegian Turid Rugaas, and uses calming signals in a similar way to horse whisperers.
She will appear on Tyne Tees at 1.10pm today, in a documentary based on her radical approach to helping pet lovers understand their dogs better.
Miss Clarke, who owns five dogs and lives at Romaldkirk, near Barnard Castle, said: "A film crew visited my training centre in February, and filmed me working with dogs and their owners.
"My approach to dog training is all about using calming signals and improving the owners' relationships with their dogs, as well as their understanding of their pet.
"People have come from across the region to take part in my courses, which run for six weeks."
