FREE excursions for senior citizens living in Newton Aycliffe and Aycliffe Village are being organised by the town council.
Great Aycliffe Town Council is offering a choice of destinations to the Scottish Borders, including a visit to Floors Castle, Blackpool, York or Northumberland, which will take in Alnwick Castle.
The trips will be held during June and July on weekdays, with the first one taking place on Wednesday, June 5.
Application forms and further details can be collected from Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre, in Beveridge Way, the library at Dalton Way or the Oak Leaf Sports Complex during opening hours.
They are also available from Great Aycliffe Town Council offices between 9am and 1pm Monday to Friday, or can be posted out by telephoning (01325) 300700.
All completed forms must be returned to the council offices by no later than Monday, April 8.
