YOUNG performers are looking forward to Summer Nights in their latest production.
A cast of 22 Durham School students, with additional band members and behind-the-scenes helpers, are staging the Seventies' blockbuster musical Grease.
The American Fifties' high school love story is being performed in the school's Luce Theatre until Saturday.
Best known for its big screen version starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, the Durham School version is already a sell-out, with parents and friends snapping up all the tickets.
The school's headmaster, Neil Kern, is directing the show. He said: "The cast has been rehearsing for the whole term. The students have worked incredibly hard.
"I've really enjoyed directing - it's been a nice change from the desk side of being a headmaster."
