BUSINESSES are being urged to come forward to operate one of 21 trading sites during the summer season.
Sites throughout Hartlepool are being let, including at Seaton Carew, the Headland and several recreation grounds, for traders to provide refreshments, fairground rides and bouncy castles.
Tony Davison, from Hartlepool Borough Council, said: "We have more than 20 selected sites throughout the town, where we encourage small traders to provide refreshments and children's attractions.
"The sites are let by tender and most of them cover a six-month period, spanning the summer.
"The sites have been reviewed and we have a few new ones available this year.
"All the sites are important as they play a part in providing facilities and amenities to local people, as well as visitors to the town."
The closing date for tenders is Wednesday, March 27. For details, contact Tony Davison or Fred Howe on (01429) 284584.
