POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man they believe is responsible for the theft of a wallet from a Darlington shop.
The man carried out the theft at a furniture shop in the town on December 28 last year.
Among the items in the wallet was a Yorkshire Bank credit card, which has been used on seven occasions since the theft to obtain a total of £600 from various shops in the town.
Anyone with information about the man is urged to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Callers can remain anonymous, but still qualify for a cash reward.
