A TRIO of dancers are in line for more honours.
As a duo and singly, Amanda Clixby, 12, and Amy Maxwell, 13, have won a string of trophies and put their home town of Darlington on the line dancing map.
The pair took up line-dancing in 1998 and have held the title of Supreme Champion of Champions. They are also east coast champions for the White Rose Association of Great Britain.
This weekend, with their new partner, Nichola Young, they will compete in the Universal Cup, in Prestatyn, Wales. Success could earn them a place in the Supreme Championships in Blackpool in May and the Line Dance Olympics in Lanzarote
