LESSONS for young children at one North Yorkshire school have certainly gone with a bang.
Primary and secondary school youngsters worked together in the classroom at Risedale College in Catterick Garrison in an effort to make the transition from one to the other less of an ordeal for the younger ones.
Adopting a Centre of the Earth theme proved a big hit, with pupils joining a dinosaur hunt while others recreated "volcanoes" in the science labs.
