VAN SNATCHED: A blue Ford Escort van, registration G123 PMR, was stolen from the car park of the Black and Decker factory in Spennymoor, between 7am and 2.30pm on Friday.
RADIO STOLEN: A Sony radio cassette player, worth £150, was stolen from a Fiat Scudo in Green Lane, Spennymoor, between 11pm on Friday and 7.30am on Saturday.
FORUM MEETING: A meeting of Sedgefield Borough Council's forum, covering Newton Aycliffe, will take place at the offices of Great Aycliffe Town Council, School Aycliffe Lane, tomorrow, at 6.30pm.
CAR TAKEN: A racing green Metro car, registration number J414 SOK, was stolen from Foundry Street, Shildon, between 8pm on Thursday and 8.15am on Friday.
SHOP VANDALISED: A shop window, valued at £200, was smashed in Main Street, Ferryhill, between 5.30pm on Friday and 8.15am on Saturday.
TOWN MEETING: The annual Spennymoor town meeting will be held in the council chamber, at Spennymoor Town Hall, on Tuesday, March 27, at 7pm. A meeting of the council will be held at 6.45pm.
CAR THEFT: A silver Vauxhall Nova, registration G878 FAJ, was stolen from the car park of the Queen's Head pub, in Adelaide Street, Shildon, between 5pm on Thursday and 3pm on Friday.
HOUSE BURGLED: A Nokia mobile phone and a large whisky bottle containing £80 in cash were stolen from a house in Guthrum Place, Newton Aycliffe, between 7.20pm and 11.40pm on Saturday.
VEHICLE DAMAGED: A Renault Megane was damaged in Hackworth Street, Ferryhill, between 3.10pm on Friday and 9.30am on Saturday.
RADIO STOLEN: An Aiwa radio cassette player, worth £95, was stolen from a Suzuki Swift, in Commercial Street, Chilton, early on Saturday.
PAINT ATTACK: Black paint was thrown over a Ford Fiesta in Langdale Place, Newton Aycliffe, at about 2.30pm on Saturday.
BODYWORK DAMAGE: A grey Daihatsu four-track and a VW Golf were both badly scratched in Salvin Terrace, Fishburn, between 7.25pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday.
EQUIPMENT THEFT: 330 paint jigs, worth £1,000, were stolen from the rear of the GT Coatings factory in Northfield Way, on the Newton Aycliffe Industrial Estate, between 5pm on Thursday and 8am on Friday.
WHEELS STOLEN: Two rear wheels were stolen from a Reliant Rialto outside the RAFA Club, Barrington Road, Newton Aycliffe, between 6.30pm on Friday and 1am on Saturday
