DESIGN guru Laurence Llewelyn Bowen will launch a roadshow at a North-East shopping centre this week.
The television star will be at Gateshead's MetroCentre for Friday's arrival of the BBC Good Homes magazine roadshow.
On Saturday, visitors to the centre will be able to meet Handy Andy (Andy Kane), while on Sunday Bob Grose from DIY SOS will offer tips on home design.
The show takes place in Exhibition Square, near Woolworths, for three days, and will include talks and demonstrations on various aspects of home design and improvement.
On Friday, Mr Llewelyn Bowen will host a live show, and on Saturday, Handy Andy will show people how to finish off a room with fitted mouldings.
During the final day, Mr Grose will demonstrate the art of tiling.
Demonstrations will take place on a large interactive stage at the centre of the roadshow.
Its sponsors, Toyota, B&Q, Abbey National and British Gas, will contribute experts giving free advice.
There will also be the chance to win thousands of pounds of B&Q furniture.
