YOUNGSTERS are being offered free entry to a council's programme of activities this Easter, as long as they travel by bus.
Children who can show a ticket stub will have free admission to a variety of activities at Redcar and Cleveland Council's three country parks at Flatts Lane, Normanby, Saltburn, and Guisborough Forest.
If they come by car there will be a nominal charge.
Countryside officer Briony Serginson said: "Reducing the number of car journeys has many benefits for the local environment, particularly as the local transport network serves our countryside as well."
Services 28, 28A, 65A, 71, 94, 95 stop at or near Flatts Lane while the 28, 28A, 54, 54A, 65, 71, 81, 781, 626 are the ones to catch for Guisborough Forest.
For Saltburn it is the 10, 10A, 48, 49, 62 or 71.
