A "THIRSTY walk", which was scrapped in the face of foot-and-mouth restrictions last year, is back on track.
Regulars and friends will trek the 23 miles from the Whale Bones at Whitby, North Yorkshire, to the bar of The Frigate pub at Marske, in east Cleveland, on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6.
The walkers hope to raise more than £3,000 in sponsorship towards the £1,500 running costs of keeping the Cleveland Search And Rescue Team equipped and operational.
The walk is one of the rescue team's main fundraisers. Anyone interested in taking part is invited to a meeting at The Frigate next Monday.
