TWO young puppies are seeking a loving new home.
The collie-cross bitches, just nine weeks old, are being looked after by the National Animal Sanctuary Support League in Darlington.
Pauline Wilson, from the league, said that they had been looking after four of the puppies and their mother, because their owner could no longer cope with them.
She said: "The mother was two-years-old and this was her second litter. She had not been neutered and her owners could no longer cope with her or her puppies and we ended up with them.
"This is why we advocate spaying and neutering and offer a low cost spaying and neutering service for dogs and cats. We have rehomed the mother and two of her puppies, but we still have these two left."
Anyone wanting to offer the pups a home should be at home the majority of the day to ensure the dogs get all the care and attention they need.
