Disabled access audit
Wear Valley Disability Access Forum has been commissioned to carry out access audits on places of worship in the Crook area.
Funding for the project has been provided through the Single Regeneration Budget.
ANNUAL MEETING: The annual Spennymoor Town Meeting is to be held in the council chamber at the town hall next Tuesday, at 7pm.
TREASURE HUNT: An Easter treasure hunt is being held at Whitworth Hall Country Park on Friday, March 29, from 1pm to 4pm, in aid of the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. Tickets are available on (01669) 621222.
EASTER ACTIVITIES: Easter activities at Parkside Community Association, Willington, include soccer coaching for girls, games and drama workshops and basketball coaching. SPRING CONCERT: A concert of Springtime music and readings is being held at Whitworth Church, Spennymoor on Sunday at 3pm.
HERITAGE TALK: Bishop Auckland Civic Society is hosting a talk by Janet Thackray called Our Northern Heritage, at Bishop Auckland Town Hall next Tuesday at 7.30pm.
CONCERT DATE: A folk night with Nebula will be held at Witham Hall, Barnard Castle,on Friday at 7.30pm, with proceeds in aid of the hall appeal. Details on (01833) 631107.

COFFEE MORNING: A coffee morning will be held in Boldron Village Hall on Saturday, March 30, from 10.30 to noon.
CHARITY FUNDRAISER: The Teesdale committee of Cancer Research UK is holding a coffee morning in Cotherstone Methodist schoolroom on Saturday, March 30, from 10am to noon.
OUTREACH VISIT: The rural outreach bus will visit Evenwood on Monday, from 1pm to 2pm, when representatives from 2D, Teesdale Enterprise Agency, UTASS and Relate will be on hand to offer advice.
