DERWENTSIDE District Council has produced a visitor guide for 2002 to meet the demand for more tourism literature covering the district.
The council is distributing more than 6,000 copies of the guide - more than double that was produced last year.
Demand has been so great the council is working closely with a tourist information centre distribution company to help get the guide to the 800 or more tourist information centres in the country.
For more information on the guide, contact (01207) 218237 come to the museum as part of a project in conjunction with the Education Action Zone for East Cleveland.
The exhibition of their work will be on display when the museum re-opens to the public as from the Easter weekend, Friday, March 29.
The museum is open from 1pm, with last admission at 3.45pm. As of next Friday the museum will be open Monday to Saturday, and also on Easter Sunday.
