PUPILS at a Darlington school are playing host to a group of students from a school in France as part of an ongoing exchange programme.
The foreign students, currently visiting Eastbourne School, are from the Amiens area of France and are staying with their host families for two weeks.
Eastbourne School headteacher Richard Appleton said: "It is an exchange which we have been running for six years now and we go backwards and forwards between the two schools. We are going back over there in May, and we also have a German exchange to a school just outside Frankfurt, so we have good foreign linkage.
"They come to school and go to lessons as well as having trips to Edinburgh, York and Whitby."
