THE history of east Cleveland will be recounted as part of a series of Easter activities taking place at the Margrove Heritage Centre.
The centre, near Guisborough, re-opens on Easter Sunday with a series of events for the school holidays.
There will be two exhibitions, The Victorians, telling the story of life in east Cleveland during the second half of the 19th Century, and Invaders and Settlers, which recounts the impact on the region of the Romans, Saxons and Vikings.
All the sessions are free but children must be accompanied by an adult.
The centre is open Mondays to Thursdays from 10am until 5pm. For more information, call (01287) 610368.
