NORTHERN women are more health-conscious than their Southern counterparts, according to a new survey.
The survey of British women aged between 16 and 55, commissioned by herbal medicine company Lanes, revealed that 90 per cent of women in the North considered they were health-conscious, exercising regularly and eating healthily.
In contrast, almost a quarter of Southern women interviewed admitted to not worrying about their health, hardly ever taking regular exercise or watching what they eat.
Other results showed that 46 per cent of women perceive the modern woman as being stressed out, while almost a third said their job prevented them spending enough quality time with their family and friends
