A Direct mailing company is set to double its workforce within a year.
Direct Solutions International (DSI) is looking to add 50 staff to its current workforce of 100 immediately, with further jobs later in the year.
The Jarrow, South Tyneside business is recruiting call centre and data entry staff, machine operators and print finishers.
Fraser Church, general manager at DSI, said: "The workload has been steadily rising and we are embarking on a new phase of recruitment. Within the next 12 months we expect to have doubled our workforce."
The Tyne and Wear Development Company has been helping in the recruitment and training programme.
Paul Buie, manager of TWDC said: "The company has been a successful business investment in the region and we are delighted to have played a continuous role in that development."
DSI, which has its headquarters in Essex, first moved to South Tyneside five years ago, providing direct mailing services to regional businesses. The business, established eight years ago, currently has annual sales of £30m.
