A RESCUE team's main fundraising event has made a successful return after an enforced absence.
Cleveland Search and Rescue team's Cleveland Survival took place on Saturday after a year's gap due to foot-and-mouth.
More than 200 people converged on Goathland, on the North York Moors to try the 23-mile navigational event. First to complete was Ian Elmore, from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in just under four hours.
Soon after the event, the team was called to search the uplands above Stokesley after two red flares were sighted, at about 10pm. No one was found and the search was called off at 4am
