PEOPLE were given the chance to voice their opinions on the controversial shake up of health services in North Teesside at a public meeting.
Members of the public had the opportunity to express their feelings on the plans to move both hip and knee services to Hartlepool and cancer services to Stockton.
The Tees Health Authority set up a review panel to consult the public on the plans after fears were expressed that patients would have to travel for vital treatment.
The review panel includes North Tees Primary Care Trust, Stockton Borough Council, North Tees Community Health Council and Tees Health Authority.
The next meetings are open to the public and are to be held on Monday, 15 April at 10am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 3pm at The Grand Hotel, Hartlepool.
