Libraries in Middlesbrough will be going wild this Easter, when children will be allowed to take part in some animal antics.
The town's libraries, along with the Primary Link education project, have arranged for trained rangers from an organisation called Zoolab to hold roadshow sessions throughout the holiday, at different libraries.
The rangers will be talking to children and will be bringing along a selection of small pets, including spiders and snakes.
The venues are: Berwick Hills Library on Wednesday, between 11.15am and 12.15pm, and Abingdon Road Library the same day, between 2pm and 3pm.
Easterside Library on Thursday, between 11am and noon, Thorntree Library between 1.45pm and 2.45pm and North Ormesby Library, between 3.30pm and 4.30pm
