Two goals in each half from Ben Chambers gave Jesmond Parish Church a 5-0 home win over Whitley Bay Churches.

Andy Widdrington scored his goal in the first half, two goals from Ryan Pender gave Metro Church a. 2-1 lead at Bethshan Christian Centre, David Mack scoring for Bethshan. Jon Lumb and Jon Boyd added to Metro scoreline in the second half to win 4-1. A goal from Andy Murray after half hour gave Consett Methodist Church a 1-0 win at Heaton Hearts. Airport Church Newcastle leading 3-2 at half-time from Andrew Nolan, Andrew Roberts and Glen Wanless against Heworth Christian Centre who had Dempsey Campbell and Anthony Dixon scoring for them. Dernpsey went on to score a hat-trick with Nick Rowling also on the score sheet. Wanless got his second for Airport, Heworth turned the match round at half-time and won 5-4. Stakeford Methodist Church had Phil Baxter who gave them a 1-0 lead at Stranton Saints Hartlepool. David Appleton equalised for Stranton on the hour with Paul Gough scoring the winner for Stranton with ten minutes left. Division Two leaders Ryton Churches lost at Lanchester Chapel leaving the division wide open. Ryton seem to have it all sewn up but in the last few matches have dropped points - 0-0 at half time within in five minutes it was 1-1. Peter Sutherland scoring for Ryton, Neil Tinkler equalising for Lanchester. With eight minutes left Keith James got the ball on the half way line beat five players and slotted the ball home for a Lanchester Chapel 2-1 win. Jesmond Parish Athenians are still in contention for promotion, lying in fourth place with three games in hand of the leaders they thrashed Middlesbrough Baptist.'s 7-0 at home. Two goals each for Keith Chambers and Roger Jackson with strikes from Dave Hepton, Jason Alexander and Ian Tew. Saint. Peter's Low Fell consolidated second place with a 3-0 home win over Yarm Emmanuel. Richard Coxon, Rob Laybourne, Andy Watson the hero for St Peters. Bethany Christian Centre consolidated in mid-table with a 3-0 win at Westgate Road Baptist Church. Dale Reid scored in the first half with Phil Rumbles getting a double in the second.
