PEDIGREE dairy cattle breeders will have a rare chance to buy into top North American bloodlines at the Borderway black and white sale at Carlisle on Friday, April 19.
The 15th annual sale, re-scheduled from December last year because of foot-and-mouth restrictions, has attracted 130 top-ranking dairy cattle from leading herds all over the country.
There is a special consignment of 40 from the Indianhead herd, under the joint care of John Logan of Manorpowis, Stirling.
The entries have a mixture of British bred, North American and continental American bloodlines. Vendors include some who sold at the first black and white event as well as some new names.
The sale begins at 11am, with viewing the previous evening For further details or catalogues contact Harrison & Hetherington's pedigree department on 01229 590490.
