DO you think children today are unfit and spend too much time playing computer games? Not at our school.
The college is applying to the National Lottery for a grant to construct several pieces of apparatus to create a Trim Trail.
The trail, which includes equipment specifically designed for disabled youngsters, is aimed at increasing pupils' involvement in the school and improving environmental awareness.
Teachers hope it will help to promote a healthier lifestyle.
Initially, there will be 15 pieces of apparatus and if it is successful the school will consider developing the trail.
The PE department will include the trail in its curriculum and after-school activities.
Everybody involved hopes the project will contribute to the school's environmental awareness and recently-awarded sports college status.
