Arthur Reed Memorial Shield Semi Finals - sponsored by Leven Bridge Engineering
Dormans FC 3 Teesside Athletic 1
Dormans FC stayed on course to repeat their triple success of last season when they booked their place in this year's Arthur Reed Final despite going behind and only having ten players for much of the game.
Dormans had the better of the early exchanges but went behind on the half hour when they were caught on the break.
Chris Ellis saw his goal-bound shot beat the Dorman's keeper but not a Dorman's defender whose diving save resulted in his dismissal and Mathew McGurk sending the Dorman's keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.
A reorganised Dormans wasted no time after the break getting back on level terms when Dean Farley broke down the right before crossing for Dave McKenna to head home at the far post.
Another link up between Farley and McKenna ended with McKenna stabbing home Dorman's second goal of the game and with their back three of Gary Foy, John Loughran and Kerry Mathews solid throughout it was only at matter of time before they wrapped up the points with a third goal.
Ironically, considering the chances that Dorman's had created, it was a defensive clearance rebounding back into the Teesside Athletic net off one of their own players that produced the goal.
B & H Kings Head 0 v 1 Redcar
Coke Ovens
It was a close fought affair at Green Lane with neither side dominating the other semi final.
Both sides created several good openings without having the crucial finishing in front of goal.
Fifteen minutes from time however, Coke Ovens broke through and following a good build Gary French fired home the all important goal.
Anthony Gregory and Ged Blair both went close minutes late for the Coke Ovens but despite a late push by the King's Head, the Cokies held out to take their place in the final.
Wilf Leader Trophy - Semi-Final Second Leg
The Grenadier 4 Bulls Head 0
Bull's Head defended well in the opening forty five minutes to keep the scoreline goalless but once Craig Bishop had volleyed the Grenadier in front early in the second their was only going to be one winner.
Andy Conway added a second when he tapped home the rebound after his earlier header had come back off the keeper and Paul Stephenson scored the goal of the game picking up the ball from his keeper.
Stephenson then proceeded to beat four players before firing into the roof of the net.
A penalty award gave the Bulls hope of getting back into the game but a brilliant save from Craig Leach saw the ball diverted wide for a corner.
It was left to Craig Donnelly to complete the scoring tapping the Grenadier's fourth goal home from close range.
Woodman's Arms 0 v 2 Stokesley
In the League, Woodman's just shaded the first half and continued to create the better openings after the break.
They paid the price for not scoring however when Stokesley took the lead from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining.
With Woodmans pushing hard for an equaliser, Stokesley secured the points with a second strike catching the home side on the break with just minutes remaining.
Middlesbrough Post Office 1 v 2 Ennis Square
Post Office created a string of good chances in the first half with Lee Hogg, John Leach and John Cramer all going close but as is often the case, they found themselves trailing at half time thanks to a well taken goal from Ennis Squares man of the match Billy Millington.
Wayne Gent added a second following a corner kick and it was not until 15 minutes from time that Post Office finally got the ball in the back of the net.
Lee Hogg beat two men before crossing for John Leach who showed great control before scoring.
