WALKING carrots and giant rabbits were among the sights on show at an Easter parade at Polam Hall Junior School, Darlington.
The girls from Year 1T wore costumes, made from crepe paper and face paints, as part of the school's traditional Easter parade.
Headteacher Angela Foster said: "The last day before a holiday is always fun for young girls. They really enjoyed making their costumes and showing them off to the junior girls. It was a creative day, intended to teach the class about Easter and spring."
