A SERIES of trips have raised hundreds of pounds for cancer sufferers.
Excursions, to Dublin and the Caterpillar Factory, near Leicester, have raised more than £500 for Teesdale Cancer Research UK.
The group regularly organises trips and weekends away to raise thousands of pounds for cancer research.
The next trip will be a four-day excursion to the Dorset Steam Fair, visiting Salisbury, Avebury, Silsbury Hill, West Kennet Long Barrow and Stonehenge.
The trip, which leaves on August 27 from Barnard Castle and Darlington, includes two day entry to the steam fair, return coach travel and three-nights bed and breakfast accommodation.
The trip costs £192 for adults, £189 for pensioners and £183 for children, based on two people sharing a room.
All proceeds from the trip will go to Cancer Research UK. For more details or to book a place, contact Ian Douglas on (01833) 650638.
