Hull City 1 : Darlington 2 - Darlington secured their first win in 11 matches with a hard-earned 2-1 win at Hull on Saturday.
The home side were big favourites to win the game but Darlington dealt with most of their attacks with Adam Reed and Craig Liddle both tremendous at the back.
Quakers opened the scoring through Barry Conlon when he looped his header over Tigers 'keeper Paul Musselwhite.
Neither side created many chances with the home side resorting to long range efforts which did little to trouble Chris Porter in the Quakers goal.
Hull equalised when striker Gary Alexander broke through the offside trap to latch on to a through ball and shoot past Porter.
The winning goal came courtesy of Ian Clark's 10th goal of the season when he fired home from 16 yards after latching on to Adam Rundle's pass.
